Calling All Hockey Fans

I'm a huge hockey fan (New York Islanders!) and when the NHL has a major trade, draft, or free agency day, it's like the lotto for me. I enjoy the frenzy that comes from it. So, July 1st was the official 1st day of NHL free agency this year, and alot went down. Check it out here: TSN NHL, and here The Hockey News.

However, every year there are teams that do good in the free agency and trade market, and others who completely bomb on it. I should know- being an Islanders fan, I've watched alot of great NHL'ers leave the Islanders because Mike Milbury was an idiot for a General Manager. Hey, Bruins fans: You're welcome to Zedeno Chara. And also Roberto Luongo.

Anyways, here's my short list of winners and losers in the NHL free agency crazyday fest:
